Steel Train

Artist: Steel Train

Album: Trampoline

Label: Drive-Thru Records

Genre: Post-punk

Comments: This isn't what I expected from a Drive-Thru records band, but that's probably because I still associate Drive-Thru with when I was twelve and listened solely to Newfound Glory and the Starting Line. Some pretty good guitar riffs and interesting lyrics. Also apparently writing this album helped lead vocalist and songwriter, Jack Antonoff, out of depression, a worthy cause. He describes the record as "Bruce Springsteen pop" . RIYL: The Long Winters, My Morning Jacket.
