Comments: Cineplexx's Sebastián Litmanovich has a lot of high-profile friends who play on Portia, his fifth record: Jad Fair, Norman Blake (Teenage Fanclub) and Federico Aubele, just to name a few. Amazingly, these fine musicians don't overshadow Litmanovich's mastery of pop music. Influences range from '60s acts like the Zombies and the Left Banke to more modern bands like "Belle & Sebastian," whom Cineplexx pay homage to with track 12. Also try "A mi lado," "Tirados," the title track (with Jad Fair) and the bonus cut "Droga folk."
