Comments: Sunset is Austin's Bill Baird, bassist for the now-defunct buzz band Sound Team, and a prolific singer/songwriter in his own right. The Glowing City is nearly 80 minutes of '70s-inspired pop music that would fit right in with modern stuff like the Shins, Super Furry Animals and, of course, Sound Team themselves. My favorites were "The World Is Awaiting," "Twenty-Four Karat Soul," "Your Eyes Are Mirrors" and "When Perfect Flames Expire."
