Comments: Usually, I'm pissed off when bands try to shove political agendas or social commentary down my throat. I'll give FOX Japan a pass, though, mainly because Charlie Wilmoth's lyrics are so downright cynical and the sarcasm so biting that I love it. Charlie's singing is sort of from the Modest Mouse "sound like you are on the edge of insanity" school of singing, which creates a weird dynamic with the softer melodies of the instrumentation, but, after I got used to it, I found the songs really catchy. Track 2 ("Divorce") was good, but some of my favorites were DNP. So sad.
