Comments: These Berklee College of Music students have clear funk and blues influences that infuse their indie rock with a retro sound, particularly on slower tracks like "Cruisin'." At times, Tucker Jameson's vocals sound a bit forced in their gratiness (as in "Train Tracks"), but overall, this is a pretty successful offering from a young band. I think we can expect good things in the future from Tucker Jameson & the Hot Mugs, especially once they focus their sound.
