Comments: To say a band has influences of Franz Ferdinand these days is like saying an 80's band is influenced by Led Zepplin: it's just a given that any indie band which plays guitar driven dance rock will be linked to those Glaswegians. So, yeah, Spiral Beach sort of sounds like Franz Ferdinand, and even captures the same sort of playfully sinister tone, but, really, I guess I am just saying they play catchy pop-rock.
