At times bringing to mind Beach House, at others Slowdive/Mojave 3's Rachel Goswell, and still at others El Perro del Mar, Tammy Haider and Eliza Hiscox weave in and out of rock, folk and dream pop to create a record that stands out even in this jam-packed summer. Joined by a handful of other fine musicians, Royalchord's beautiful instrumentation provides the perfect backdrop for the duo's beautifully dreary vocals.
