And although that word is applied to far too many pop records, I truly enjoyed the ride on Hoop & Wire. Ragel's sense of humor pairs well with his serious skills to create a fine record of "blippy pop experimentations" that occasionally ramble, but are often worth the listen. "Constellation" is a standout.
