Comments: L.A. band Everest make '70s rock-informed, country-leaning rock music that should appeal to fans of Band of Horses, Wilco and My Morning Jacket. Another of their biggest influences, Neil Young, signed the band to his Vapor imprint for their 2008 debut Ghost Notes, and On Approach is a very solid followup.
