Comments: Arthur Nasson's Echo Garden LP is divided into three movements; Parts I and III are filled with hook-laden rock that pulls from a lot of '60s influences, from the Beach Boys to Syd Barrett to Motown; Part II is an exploration of psychedelic soundscapes that, frankly, seems out of place. Still, there are some good pop songs before and after, particularly "Bounce" and "You Wouldn't Understand."
