Comments: I have to say that the new collaboration between Thao Nguyen (of Thao With the Get Down Stay Down) and Mirah (that's pronounced "MEER-uh", by the way) is, well, exactly what I would expect from these two. And that's just fine with me. Thao & Mirah is a fine collection of pop songs, veering from indie rock to jazzy pop to quiet folk. If you've listened to these two artists before, you'll certainly find lots to enjoy; if you're new to either, this LP will serve as a perfect introduction.
