Comments: This is the debut LP from Brooklyn's Radical Dads, a trio featuring Lindsay Baker on guitar and vocals, Robbie Guertin on vocals and drums and Chris Diken on guitar. Though Guertin plays keyboards and guitar and sings backing vocals for Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, there's not too much overlap in the two bands' music. (The biggest similarity is Guertin's vocals, which aren't too far away from those of CYHSY frontman Alec Ounsworth.) Says The Village Voice: "Gowanus trio Radical Dads are a bold, beaming, lo-fi treat... with the snappy snarl of '90s D.C. indie."

A really good record that definitely has that '90s lo-fi vibe. Spin tracks 1, 2, 5 and 9.
