Comments: From the promoter: "Living up to the peculiarity of their moniker, the danceable synthpop-rock of Hands is a welcome newcomer to the LA scene. What began as a 2-piece from Philadelphia quickly emerged into a memorizing full ensemble with an unmissably explosive energy. Off the back of their successful Massive Context EP, the debut LP Synesthesia glides along with thumping bass built underneath deep electronic textures. Tracks like 'Trouble' and 'Videolove' beg you to move right off the bat while the rhythmic pull of 'The Game Is Changing Us' and 'Lonesome Body' push you into full-on jumping around by the end. It's a challenge to find just one track to love from Hands."
Synesthesia features generic beats that are nonetheless catchy, some of which sounds like early MGMT. I would recommend giving this album a spin, especially tracks 1, 2, 5 and 7.
