Comments: From the promoter: "Velvet Vision is the solo synth pop project of Betty Taylor, a musician currently based in Santa Fe, NM. Her self-titled debut EP Velvet Vision is characterized by a pronounced use of synthesizers, samples, and lush vocal harmonies. Raised in Minnesota by musician parents, Betty was constantly surrounded by music and grew up playing the violin in her school’s Orchestra. Despite being immersed in it throughout childhood, she didn’t pursue writing music until the spring of 2018, when she began learning guitar and writing songs simultaneously. She has been developing her sound since then, participating in various music projects spanning a range of genres (​Delilah Fang​, ​et​) before emerging as a solo artist with Velvet Vision. Leaning into a longstanding love of both electronic and pop music, Velvet Vision is constructing a unique sound on her EP with rosy yet reflective songs."
