Comments: Before Riki began her solo venture, she was active in California's death rock and anarcho-pop scenes. Gold effortlessly brings in a very characteristic '80s pop rock sound and merges modern alternative/punk/rock. Her light, airy voice balances the steady, rooted music and techno sounds for an upbeat but controlled soundtrack. Very fresh and unique music was produced on this album, and its worth a listen even just to hear something out of the ordinary.
