Comments: Dracula, Nurses' follow-up to their 2009 homemade album Apple's Acre, continues the group's fondness for synth pop with tons of catchy hooks. Each track layers multiple sounds (actually, the members didn't take on the traditional roles of guitarist, keyboardist, etc., but instead opted for being a trio of producers, who would add on sounds until they got the desired result) and flows seamlessly into the next in such a way that when the end of the album comes, it's hard to distinguish individual songs. Some of this effect comes from a lack of diversity in the sounds from track to track, but mostly it showcases the band's cohesion. Definitely worth a listen.
