Comments: Read Between the Lines... Think Outside Them is 18 tracks of demented apocalyptic punk. Driving tom-heavy drums carry the songs through chaotic guitar work and grumbled vocals. The parlor-esque piano gives the tracks a western-saloon feel, and other times a twisted circus aesthetic (think Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas). Tsigoti is up in arms with an avant-garde approach that sometimes spills over into jazzy noise-rock. Politically charged and violently pacifist, Read Between the Lines puts the anarchist attitude back into avant-punk, where it no doubt belongs. Tracks 4, 15, 2, 5 and 10 are recommended.
