Artist: Streets of Laredo
Album: Volume I & II
Label: Dine Alone
Genre: Indie folk, folk rock
Comments: Volume I & II , the debut full-length from Brooklyn-based New Zealanders Streets of Laredo, is a "sing-a-long collision of jangling harmonies, stomping percussion, horns and guitars." The vocals echo amidst catchy melodies and meditative lyrics. This album is a quintessential indie folk album in the fall, but still sounds fresh and exciting. Track 7 is the standout here, but the album flows very well and is certainly worth a spin.
