Comments: From the promoter: "Alberta Cross was originally the creative conduit for friends Petter Ericson Stakee and Terry Wolfers. Following the release of 2012's Songs of Patience however, Wolfers found himself tied up in several other projects, leaving Stakee to soldier on by himself. Having set up shop in a church to write and record Alberta Cross' self-titled, third album Stakee says this new album 'was inspired by a series of late night jams we had in New York City prior to recording. I really wanted to capture that live soulful organic sound.' Co-produced by Claudius Mittendorfer (Johnny Marr, Kaiser Chiefs, Temples), this record boasts bold new sounds and colors that arise from Stakee's freshly found artistic freedoms."
