Comments: Named after the social unrest coming after the LA Riots back in 1992, the brother duo of Noah and Josh Dickie return with their fifth record, The Crazed Ones. As the main singer/songwriter Noah puts it, "I wanted our name to reflect the locale. We are a Western band, and our music reflect that upbringing, from the riots in LA to this weird city in the middle of the desert. Unrest comes from the general uneasiness, the anxiety of our music."

The Crazed Ones can get pretty hard-hitting at hard times, but the record's sound never forgets its folk origins, all while having that bright, sunshine feel that California records seem to always bring.
