Comments: I was captivated by Josephine Foster’s unique voice and singing style from the first seconds of the first track of Blood Rushing. It reminded me of an earthy, beautiful, and warbling Disney princess with grass stains on her tattered gown. The music is mellow, interesting and intricate. The instruments are interesting and perfectly match the quirkiness of Foster’s voice. I’m definitely adding this to my library, and I highly recommend the album.
