Comments: It's true: Stars is known for weaving beautiful, eloquent indie pop with lush instrumentation and soft, nuanced vocals. What's also true? The band's sixth full-length studio album delivers on all things melodramati-pop and reminds us why we fell in love with "them Canadians" back in 2005 (see: Set Yourself on Fire). Gauzy, gaudy and shoegazey songs add to The North's blissful set-up, and Stars' synthetic orchestral beats and positively drab analogue sounds prove that the band can still keep the mesmerizing and creative hits coming.
