Comments: This new album by the band Slothrust contains many different components that all entice the listener. Slothrust is able to provide songs such as "Birthday Cake" and "For Robin" that are comprised predominantly of acoustic chords and simple, emotional melodies that remind a listener of bands like The Shins. Though, other songs such as "Planetarium" have alternative, darker elements that display to the listener the wide-ranging abilities of this band. Would certainly give a listen!
